Kyf Brewer brings a lived-in weariness to Mitch that suits the character's bruised interior perfectly, shifting between sardonic deflection and raw grief with convincing ease. The tension in Brown's plotting translates especially well to audio, where Brewer's pacing through the cat-and-mouse sequences keeps the suspense taut across the full twelve-hour runtime. Fans of the series will find this second installment deeply satisfying to hear.
